Start a vault for your team

You become the founding member and owner — the only one we bill. Later you invite the rest of your team and each member gets one Shamir unseal share. Two shares together are required to unseal the vault.

Where to send the bill (only the team owner gets billed).

  • Your password can’t be too similar to your other personal information.
  • Your password must contain at least 8 characters.
  • Your password can’t be a commonly used password.
  • Your password can’t be entirely numeric.

Enter the same password as before, for verification.

On submit we’ll spin up an OpenBao container for your team and hand you the 10 unseal keys exactly once. Make sure to save and print them — there is no recovery if all are lost.
